A vest can easily be made from the Opus Jacket pattern by omitting the sleeves and binding the armholes. This reversible kids Shirt Collar Style vest features a group of 3 coordinating cotton prints from Riley-Blake Design’s Legends of the National Parks series on one side and a lightweight denim on the other side. Each vest section was quilted with a star motif in multi-colored thread, adding another design element to the denim fabric. Kangaroo pockets were also added to the denim side of the vest. The vest is framed and bound with one of the Legends cotton prints. A large brass snap is the reversible closure.
