Treat your Sewing Group or Club to Virtual Inspiration

Plan a Trunk Show, Inspirational Workshop or more with Rae Cumbie.  It is the perfect way  to launch a Fit for Art pattern challenge or a special group focus.  Trunk shows and Instructional topics for virtual classes include most topics also offered in person.  Contact to set up some on line sewing fun.

Our Central Iowa ASG Chapter was privileged recently to have Rae Cumbie, Fit for Art Patterns, present an inspiring and informative all-day Zoom presentation. Rae has thoroughly embraced online technology and has mastered the use of multiple cameras, microphones, and Zoom features to create a learning environment that is almost like being in her studio. She effortlessly moves from showing sample garments to instructional slides and on to close-up demonstrations of techniques at her sewing table. To offer even more, Rae shared the stage with her Fit for Art partner, Carrie Emerson, bringing Carrie into the program remotely from her own sewing studio.  They have definitely honed their online skills. As a result, we all had a fantastic day Zooming with Rae and Carrie and you will, too.

Design Your Own In Person Workshop!

Fit for Art Patterns also offers classes, retreats and workshops featuring the Tabula Rasa Jacket, Eureka! Pants that Fit, Carpe Diem Dress & Tunic,  Tabula Rasa Knit Tee & Tunic, and their variations. Your sewing or creative arts group or a local fabric or quilt store may be interested in sponsoring a Fit for Art event. We can provide anything from a half-day of trunk shows and inspirational talks to a multi-day retreat tailored to your needs. We can bring more than one instructor to accommodate larger groups.  We are delighted to provide you with available dates and current rates.
