Summer Sashing

Rae raided the cotton scraps boxes to make this Tabula Rasa Jacket with extensive sashing details.  The topper was left unlined so students could see and understand the sashing process when applied to a garment.  The jacket features the Split Band from the Band Variation Digital pattern.  The  band was strategically positioned to coordinate with the sashed composition and show off the gold button.  The Summer Sleeves were created with the pattern in the  downloadable Sleeves and Cuffs pattern.  The Cuff is found in the Shirt Variation Pattern.   This jacket is a great example of the mix and match possibilities of the TRJ Variation Patterns.  Read more about this jacket in the Simply Sashed TRJ post. Other sashed garments in the gallery include the Sashed Silk Jacket   and the Roly Poly Children at Play.
