The Carpe Diem Tunic was sewn in silk from India, like the Green Silk Tunic, and has the same elastic cuffed sleeves. It was made to coordinate with this handwoven Tabula Rasa Vest. The vest was upcycled from a too-big handwoven jacket found in Carrie’s mom’s closet; the original jacket was made by handwoven artist Liz Spear. Carrie resized and shaped the front of the jacket, collar, and back of the jacket with her trusty Tabula Rasa Jacket pattern, then cut side panels from the sleeves.
