Product Description

This package contains patterns and instructions for Wide Neckline Variations for Tabula Rasa Knits in sizes XS-3XL.  Pattern pieces include templates to transform your basic knit top into a Boat neck or Ballet neck top, templates for a curved hemline, patterns for a Draped Front, two optional collars (rounded and angled) and a flared cuff.  This package does not include patterns for the side, back and sleeve because it is intended to be used in conjunction with your original Tabula Rasa Knits pattern.  Please refer to your TR Knits Tee & Tunic patterns for those pieces, size and yardage information.  This instruction book also includes design tips to sew, fit, stabilize, finish and embellish knit tops with wide necklines, collars and draped fronts, plus an extra section on using lingerie straps.

Tabula Rasa Knits with Wide Neckline Variations are appropriate for a wide range of knit fabrics.  For draped neck tops, avoid definite stripes and plaids.  The Ballet and Boat neck variations will require the same yardage as recommended for the Tabula Rasa Knit Tee or Tunic.  Purchase an additional 1/4 yard for the draped front top, for each collar you wish to add, or for the curved hemline.
