Add several crossing components to your Tabula Rasa Knit tops. Clever Crossing Variations includes patterns and instructions for a crossing surplice top with or without a shaped band or cowl neck, a top with a crossover yoke, and short tulip sleeves. This package does not include patterns for the side, back and regular knit sleeve. Please refer to your original Tabula Rasa Knit Tee & Tunic pattern for those pieces and for size information. The instruction book also features design ideas and directions for varying the hemline, shaping the cowl neck, adding tucks to the sleeves, embellishing the shaped band, and for adding piping. Package includes all sizes, XS -3XL.
The Clever Crossing Variations for Tabula Rasa Knits are appropriate for a wide range of knit fabrics. The Crossover Yoke style is especially adaptable for mixing a variety of knit scraps. Please consult the Tabula Rasa Knit Tee & Tunic pattern for basic fabric requirements. The Surplice front style may require an additional ½ yard to cut two fronts, especially in sizes L through 3XL. Adding a shaped band or cowl neck will also require an additional ½ yard to accommodate those pattern pieces.
This pattern can be purchased in either a print version (instruction book and tissue patterns mailed to your shipping address) or in a downloadable digital version. Please enjoy samples of the Clever Crossing Variations in our photo gallery for inspiration!
