This reversible raincoat is great for travel! It is light weight, folds up easily, and it’s black on one side and gray on the other. It also doesn’t scream “raincoat,” so it can be worn for any occasion. This coat was made with Rain or Shine Variations for the Tabula Rasa Jacket. In addition to being reversible, the coat was lengthed to mid-thigh and features a swing back, a hood, and pockets on both sides of the coat. On the black side, the pockets are hidden inseam pockets; the gray side features whimsical rounded pintuck patch pockets. The Rain or Shine instruction book includes directions and pattern pieces for all of these features except the pintuck pockets. The long sleeves can be turned back to form a contrasting cuff on either side.
I love this jacket and I did purchase the pattern but I have a question, where can I find a variety of water resistant fabric suitable for rain wear?
We have listed a few online resources on the Rain or Shine Variation Resources page on our website. Beyond that, I can only suggest searching the web. Good luck!
