Carrie loves her black denim shirt dress based on the Tabula Rasa Jacket with Shirt Variations (spread collar version). She had fun wearing it in the Fashion Show at the 2019 ASG Annual Conference. The challenge for the fashion show was to create a garment that could be worn two different ways. Carrie modeled this sample as a shirt dress with contrasting obi belt (the reverse side of the obi belt is the same fabric as the dress) and also as knee-length duster style coat over pegged Eureka! Pants and a ballet neck tee with curved hem. The inseam pockets were topstitched to the dress front to keep them from flapping around when worn open as a duster.
