Our Newest Makes
Our featured photo was taken at Baltimore’s Wine Collective where we tasted several wines while choosing the wine for our Book Signing Bash last week. We are each wearing a new holiday make. Carrie has on a festive flannel shirt using the techniques from Rae’s article in the Classic Sewing Holiday issue on creating a festive shirt using the Tabula Rasa Jacket and the Shirt Variations pattern. It is really fun and is snazzy in the back as well as in the front. Watch for a post next spring outlining all the techniques to make this fun shirt.
Rae is wearing a black sweater knit Tabula Rasa Knit Tee cut to tunic length with the ballet neckline found in the Wide Neckline Variations. She has been trying to get this top stitched up for months now. During the holidays she loves a basic black tunic to dress up with scarves or favorite jewelry. It makes getting dressed so easy.

Rae has a great red Tabula Rasa Knit tee that perks up many sweaters or scarves for the holidays, then returns for Valentine’s day and in spring, when Memorial day is chilly.
Finally, a novelty knit Rae created for cold weather occasions last year. You can see her here wearing it by the Christmas tree in her French river house.
