Under the Sea – Stacked Sheer Tunic

Summer calls for etherial sheer tops that look cool and this terrific Carpe Deim Tunic with a pleated peplum addition is perfection. Featured in the Summer 2025 issue of Threads Magazine, this two layer top also has an inset bodice featuring raw edge collage in a variety of sheer an vintages fabrics depicting two different underwater scenes. The underlayer was a sari with a bright gold woven border that creates the outer finishes on this light as a feather piece of wearable art.

  1. Do you have a blog that explains the square neck?

    1. Probably not this one which actually has straps that create the square neckline. Carrie included info about a square neck design in this post https://fitforartpatterns.com/2024/05/21/peplum-tops-from-carpe-diem/ to get you started.
