This straightforward Carpe Diem top was made from two old cotton damask napkins that were dyed pastel bleu during one of Fit for Art’s retreat dyeing days. The giant and very lightly used napkins were Carrie’s mom’s, so of course Carrie used them to sew a beautiful blue blouse for Peg. The blouse features sleeves that end just below the elbow with a small pleat held together with a button. The neckline was finished with pretty Liberty of London cotton voile in Carrie’s stash from an earlier France trip. A lovely memento for Peg to wear, reminding her of her adventure in 2022 ti the Fit for Art Enchanting France-Embellishing Fabric retreat! Find more details in Pastel-dyed Carpe Diem Blouse.
