This Tabula Rasa Knit Tee with the Ballet Neckline from the Wide Neckline Variations was created with the Tumbler Pieced Kit from SewBatik fabrics. The colorful batiks are pieced into strips and then sashed together for the shirts front and back. The brightest colors were placed at the neckline and the darker colors near the hemline. Three tumblers were stitched together into a curve to create the lantern like sleeve finish. Rae loves piecing knits with the SewBatik cotton jersey fabric because it only stretches widthwise.
