Hand block printed cotton from an old-time maker in France inspired this unlined jacket for spring and fall from 3 coordinating fabrics in coral, ivory and mossy green. The the extra-wide band creates a Shawl Collar, as described in Band Variations and Pockets; it also features a band cuff from Sleeve and Cuff Variations. The band and cuff are also accented with one of our favorite techniques – flat piping (described in the original Tabula Rasa Jacket pattern). Don’t miss the hand made buttons covered in one of the 3 fabrics!

Had so much fun at the Maryland retreat last weekend. I learned a lot about design and construction and went home with (almost done) two gorgeous jackets. Friends will be impressed, I am sure.
