Carrie made this dressy jacket with the Shirt Variations for the Tabula Rasa Jacket. She had purchased this pre-quilted silk fabric a few years earlier for another project, but changed her mind. After making a pair of gray silk dupioni pants to go with a sheer swing jacket, she realized that this fabric was also an excellent match for the pants. Rae found her a gorgeous silk twill scarf panel in New York City, which became the lining, and there was enough left over for a matching sleeveless top to wear with the outfit. This jacket will also go with her brand new faux leather pants. Talk about some great wardrobing possibilities – this time for less formal evening wear!
