This fabric reminds Rae of Spring poppies in bloom in southern France; in fact, she found the fabric at a sewing show in France. The tunic features the V Neckline Variation front and back for Carpe Diem Dress & Tunic with a special twist; instead of cutting on the fold, she cut two fronts in order to create center front seam. Red piping was inserted along the V Neckline and into the center front and back seams, providing an important accent to bring attention to those red poppies.
