This Jean Jacket Variation of the Tabula Rasa Jacket was made from a black softly brushed denim. It features a classic collar and straight cuffs on a 2-piece sleeve, as well as a hem band and tabs. Carrie created this jacket for her daughter, adding embroidered African animal pieces as patch pockets rather than breast pockets and flap. A third embroidered patch embellishes the back yoke. The adorable giraffe, elephant and ostrich remind us of a family trip taken several years ago to Tanzania for an African safari! The jacket is finished with contrast top stitching in a thread color matching the embroidered patches and with plain copper jean tack buttons.
