This reversible vest is sewn from luxurious double-faced 100% cotton jacquard from Japan. Carrie loves wearing it on both the light and dark sides three seasons of the year. Two designs from this fabric series are incorporated, the primary fabric for the fronts and lower backs, the secondary fabric for the sides, back yoke and band.
The angled crossover front is an experimental design derived from the Tabula Rasa Jacket front with a kimono band; the fabric selvage comes into play in finishing the band on the light side of the vest. Look for a blog post with tips for the crossover front coming soon! The back features an upper yoke and pleated lower back based on instuctions found in Rain or Shine Variations for the TRJ.
