Our friend Edye made this quilted Tabula Rasa Jacket from a fun cotton print she’d been hoarding in her stash for just this occasion! (And before you ask – no, we don’t have any more Bow Wow Chow Mein, though we’ve heard rumors that it can be found on e-Bay…) The quilting follows lines inspired by the print, which is featured front and back. The only other fabric is a bright stripe for the sleeves and band. Read more about Edye’s process in the post Edye’s Quilted Jacket.
Two additional quilted jackets have been made from this narrative fabric, combining it with different secondary fabrics resulting in a very different look. Don’t you love the tiny quilted Tabby Jacket? Rae tells us more about crafting Anna and Rory’s jackets in Quilt Fanciful Jackets.
