Garment Sewing Basics

Garment sewing can be very rewarding and allows you to choose your best style and fit. Rae is here to teach you the best practices for sewing clothing before you sit down at the sewing machine. In this series you have learned how to choose and cut out fabric and a pattern, now Rae will cover the importance of following the directions . You will explore successful methods for pinning, sewing, clipping and finishing seams, and the importance of pressing as you sew. As if all that wasn’t enough, you will also learn some methods of supporting and finishing a garment’s raw edges. These class will give you an excellent foundation on which to build your garment sewing expertise.
