Add a cowl neck to the Surplice top style from Clever Crossing Variations for Tabula Rasa Knits to make a cozy winter knit top! This heather ribbed sweater knit was just the ticket. Rae added tucks in the back of the cowl neck to add vertical support and more tucks to the long sleeves. Directions for both of these modifications are included in the instruction book for Clever Crossing Variations. You can also see that she used a 2″ deep turned up hem to give the sweater greater weight and bulk.
