Luscious Rayon Tabula Rasa Retreat

Join Fit for Art Patterns, SewBatik and Original Sewing & Quilt Expo for a weekend of sewing.  Our 2-day online retreat will begin Saturday morning, and wrap up with show and tell late Sunday afternoon.  Both Carrie and Rae will be on hand each day to help you fashion a kimono style Tabula Rasa Jacket in beautiful Sew Batik Rayon.  The required kit is offered in 4 color ways, with needed interfacing and an option that includes the pattern if you don’t already own it.  A wonderful swag bag from Original Sewing & Quilt Expo will contain needles, threads, additional interfacing and some fun make-ahead recipes to keep you nourished while we sew together.  If you have already made some Tabula Rasa Jackets, you can use your fabric kit to make a swing top, shirt, or other variation that compliments the rayon fabric. Throughout the weekend we will be demonstrating cutting, stitching, closure ideas, and more for your rayon sewing.  As a bonus, SewBatik will join us for lunch one day and we will teach French seams and a decorative flower to add flourish to your fun creation.
