Both the base and collage fabrics in this vest are decorator weight. The armholes are bound and a tie closure was created from the same fabric as the binding. Please refer to Swing Variations for directions on finishing the vest armholes, and to Band Variations and Pockets for directions on making tie or loop closures. The staggered hem length also breaks up and adds interest to the rather square shape of this vest.
