This colors in this quilted jacket give it a Christmas feel, but Rae enjoys wearing it all winter because it doesn’t have truly Christmasy themes. The main fabric is a traditional Provençal woodblock print. The sleeves and front band are also a woodblock print fabric, but in this case a gift from a friend who had been in India. The small floral used in the cuff and band facing and piping fabrics came from a local quilt store. Rae free motion quilted the fronts and back, and the sleeves were channel quilted, to a black china silk lining before constructing the jacket.
